SeaSense

SeaSense is a decission support tool targeted at large container vessels to aid the navigator in rough weather.

Based on real measurements calculated in realtime, the system can inform the navigator in clear graphics about the "roughnes" of the sea, thus avoiding loosing containers or causing structural damage to the vessel. parameters considered are among others green water on deck, parametric roll and bow accelleration.
