Technical Excellence
The success of NACOS is based on the unique concept to functionally integrate radar operation, ECDIS and autopilot. This provides enhanced support to the Officer on watch, whose main taskes are navigation, collision avoidance and control of the vessel´s safe track.

The RADARPILOT designates the solution – a radar system including direct control of a track-keeping autopilot. By using the RADARPILOT 1100 series, NACOS provides all the outstanding advantages of new generation radars.

Integrated Steering and Track Control
The TRACKPILOT is the core component of NACOS. It has been specially designed to optimize the complete steering process based on a closed loop track controller: The TRACKPILOT 1100 receives position, heading and speed data, applies the ship´s model and calculates the necessary rudder angle command.

It is designed to fulfil the latest requirements for Track Control Systems.
