New orders received in Vietnam from national Vinashin Shipping Company

New order of 14 vessels to be built at Vinashin Group Dung Quat and Ha Long shipyards have been secured by Lyngsø Marine A/S.
Vietnam has for some time been monitored closely in the shipbuilding industry as a fast emerging shipbuilding nation. And during the last years, a huge increase in orders from Vietnam has been achieved by Lyngsø Marine A/S - who today is the dominant automation supplier in Vietnam. Now, the first orders are received from the national Vietnamese Vinashin shipping company.
14 vessels to be built at Vinashin Group Dung Quat and Ha Long shipyards. Each of the 54.000 dwt. bulk carriers are to be fitted with MCS 2200 series Monitoring and Control System and PCS 2200 series Propulsion Control System, including the EGS 2200 Engine Governor System.
All consoles and equipment will be assembled and manufactured under class approval of DnV at the SAM Electronics factory in Taizhou, China. Commissioning, training and hand-over of the system is performed by SAM China together with our local partner Vinacom.
